With only a few days left in the transfer window, as many as six Manchester United players could be on their way out of Old Trafford before the market closes.
It has been a disappointing start to the Premier League season for the Red Devils. United have drawn one and lost another in their opening fixtures, struggling to find the back of the net — their only goal so far coming via a Fulham own goal in a 1-1 draw this past weekend.

In a bid to improve both their performances and results in the coming months, United are expected to remain active in the market. However, further incomings are believed to be dependent on outgoings, with a growing list of stars no longer viewed as central to Ruben Amorim’s plans.
One player seemingly destined for the exit is Rasmus Hojlund. Signed from Atalanta in 2023 for €77.8 million (R1.5 billion), the Danish forward has struggled to deliver the goals expected of him. The 22-year-old has not been included in recent matchday squads against Arsenal and Fulham, and rumours linking him with a move to Serie A champions Napoli are gathering pace.
Another possible departure is Kobbie Mainoo. The highly rated midfielder broke into the first team last season and earned regular England call-ups as a result. But under Amorim, his role has diminished, and although he has been named in the squad, he has not featured in either of United’s last two games. Reports suggest he could be a surprise exit in the final days of the window.

With further names also being linked with exits, the coming days could prove decisive in shaping the new era at Old Trafford under Amorim.
