Earlier in the week, there was a decision made to cater for an increased crowd influenced by ticket sales.

From an earlier estimate plan for a crowd of 45 000, the number was moved to 60 000.

The latest is that 75 000 tickets have now been made available, which is almost 80% of the giant stadium’s capacity.

Chiefs have since released a statement.

Important Ticket Update

The initial 60,000 tickets for the match have been sold out! Following careful consideration and a consultation process with relevant stakeholders, we are pleased to release an additional 15,000 tickets for sale.

Important match day details:

- Gates will open at 16:30. Please arrive early to avoid any delays.

- No tickets will be sold at the stadium on match day. Please make sure you secure your ticket in advance.

The matter of security and safety has been factored in aligning to commercial interests.
