Known for his cultured left foot and creative spark, Maema was unveiled in Egypt in the most eye-catching way possible, riding a camel, a now-iconic tradition for welcoming new Simba signings.

The 29-year-old attacker, who brings experience and vision to the midfield, becomes the latest addition to Fadlu Davids’ squad, joining them during their pre-season camp in North Africa.

Maema reunites with fellow South Africans Davids, now his head coach, and Rushine De Reuck, a former Sundowns teammate who also recently joined the Wekundu wa Msimbazi.

Simba are currently in a pre-season camp in Egypt as they gear up for what promises to be an electrifying 2025/26 season, kicking off next month.

Maema’s arrival is not just a boost to Simba's attacking midfield but also a statement of intent. His technical ability could make him one of the standout performers in the Tanzanian Premier League this season.
