Liverpool claimed their first League Cup crown since 2012 following a 11-10 penalty shoot-out victory over Chelsea on Sunday evening.
Caoimhim Kelleher returned in goal for the Reds, who had to make a change before kick-off after Thiago Alcantara got injured in the warm-up as the Blues named Romelu Lukaku on the bench.
Chelsea orchestrated the first threat on five minutes as a low ball right of the area from Cesar Azpilicueta saw Christian Pulisic bring a save off Kelleher following a close-range attempt.
What followed the Blues was a double save from goalkeeper Edouard Mendy off Naby Keita's rasping drive and Mane's follow-up attempt on the half-hour mark.
Chelsea were able to survive the onslaught from the Reds just a minute before halftime when Mason Mount dragged a pullback from Pulisic wide with the goal at his mercy.
Still, Chelsea enjoyed the lion share of chances minutes in the second half and should've been ahead after Mount stayed clear to get goal-wards from a supply, but he was denied by the post.
The Reds received a big chance before the closing phase after Mohamed Salah raced to a ball into space and applied a dink over Mendy, but Thiago Silva made a goal-line clearance.

Liverpool looked to have gone ahead minutes later when Joel Matip headed in a knockdown, but it was chalked off following an infringement, with Lukaku and Timo Werner on for Chelsea.
Liverpool continued to have the majority of chances and could've been in front right on the ninety when Virgil Van Dijk headed goal-wards from a corner-kick, but Mendy made a flying stop.
The Blues went close at the other end after a ball down the byline from Marcos Alonso alerted Lukaku, whose snap shot worked Kelleher to a save, as extra-time volleyed.
Chelsea made a strong opening and were ahead through a clever finish from Lukaku, but the flag went up for offside before Kai Havertz had a similar strike disallowed for offside later on.
With a penalty shoot-out looming, the Blues introduced Kepa Arrizabalaga and following a marathon shoot-out the Reds emerged victors after Arrizabalaga missed the decisive kick in sudden-death.
