The two South African legends made headlines after shinning at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown during the tournament. The competition featured legends from Botswana, SA, Namibia, and Zimbabwe.

Amongst the notable names who were representing Mzansi were Itumeleng Khune, Cyril Nzama, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Lucky Lekgwathi, and Happy Jele. "Ntho Tse Monate", as Tshabalala is affectionately known, and Mokoena are some of those who stole the show.

The duo dazzled throughout the tournament, particularly in the final where South Africa defeated Botswana to claim the Clash of Legends title. They had earlier brushed aside Zimbabwe in the semi-finals.

Shabba and Cheesyboy covered every blade of grass, showing glimpses of the skill, creativity, and football intelligence that once made them stars of the professional beautiful game.
