Pirates confirm new signings, but one player missing...

While Orlando Pirates unveiled seven players ahead of the trip to Spain for their pre-season training, one missing player’s name has stuck out like a sore thumb.

Pirates have been busy the past few days after unveiling new head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, marquee signing Sipho Mbule and the new kit for the 2025/26 season .

The club has now confirmed the arrival of Sihle Nduli, Yanela Mbuthuma, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Masindi Nemtajela, Tshepang Moremi, Tshepo Mashiloane, and Sinoxolo Kwayiba in their camp in preparations for a new campaign that will present new challenges.

Bucs will return to the CAF Champions League next season after finishing runners-up in the league last term.

Midfielder Kabelo Kgositsile from Baroka FC was reported to have signed for the Soweto giants, but strangely, his name was missing amongst the new signings announced.

Bakgakga boss Khurishi Mphahlele has now cleared the air.

"Yes, (he signed with Pirates), but we agreed that he will join them next year", Mphahlele tells KickOff.com.
