PSL star on the brink of joining Billiat

A SuperSport United star is now said to be on the brink of joining Khama Billiat at Scottland FC, amid the sale of Matsatsantsa.

It recently emerged that SuperSport have sold their Betway Premiership status for a hefty fee of R50 million, according to sports broadcaster Robert Mawara.

The club’s status is said to have been purchased by a Bloemfontein-based business tycoon, with the team set to be renamed Celtic United for the 2025/26 season.

As such, it marks the end of the road for some of SuperSport’s current players.

According to Zimpapers Sports Hub, Terrence Dzvukamanja is on the verge of completing a move to Scottland, where he will be playing alongside Billiat.

The publication quotes a source as saying: “It’s almost a done deal.

“Terry is coming back home, unless something big happens.

"If you look at their conversion rate of late, it hasn’t been satisfactory.

"Scottland need to boost their scoring to keep pace with the top teams and maybe fight for honours at the end of the season."

Dzvukamanja has been playing in South Africa since 2018, when he joined the now-defunct Bidvest Wits from Ngezi Platinum.

Since then, he has had spells at Orlando Pirates and, more recently, SuperSport United over the past two years.
