A Mamelodi Sundowns star has now been hired by one of Bafana Bafana's opponents for the upcoming 2024 CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) to bolster their technical team.
CHAN 2024 is scheduled to kick off on 2 August, with the tournament set to be hosted by three nations: Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
A total of 19 teams will compete for the title, with each squad made up exclusively of locally-based players.

South Africa have been drawn in Group C, alongside co-hosts Uganda, Niger, Guinea, and Algeria.
This week, Uganda confirmed their final 29-man squad for the tournament, trimming 12 players from their provisional group.
In addition, The Cranes also announced that Sundowns veteran Denis Onyango will lead their goalkeeping department during the tournament.
On Monday, Onyango joined the team at their training camp in Luzira.
In a statement posted on The Cranes' official X account, Uganda confirmed: "Former Uganda Cranes goalkeeper and captain Denis Onyango has offered to support the CHAN squad's goalkeeping department during his holiday in the country, after being approached by FUFA."
