Ngezana featured for just 45 minutes in the Red and Blues' 2-0 defeat to Arges Pitesti in the Romanian SuperLiga encouter held at the National Arena Stadium.
According to Pitesti central defender Mario Tudose, the former Kaizer Chiefs star was lucky to escape harsher punishment for a tough tackle during the first half.
Ngezana had already picked up a yellow card earlier in the match, which may have influenced coach Elias Charalambous’ decision to substitute him at halftime.
The 20-year-old Tudose insisted that Ngezana should have been sanctioned for the foul, believing it warranted more than just a warning.
"I feel better now, but unfortunately I wasn't able to continue the match after the blow I took, I felt a little dizzy on the field and I said there was no point in staying to play, risking something more serious," Tudose said per Digi Sport.

"I don't know what the rules are, but he hit me hard. The referee told me it wasn't intentional, and that [Siyabonga] Ngezana was looking for the ball, but he did a scissor kick directly into my head.
"It's a very important victory for us, against the Romanian champion, right here, at home. When you play in a match like this, you motivate yourself differently, and victory feels better."
