Lorch initially joined Wydad on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns in January 2025 on a six-month deal.
Following a successful spell — which included standout performances at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup — Wydad began their pursuit of a permanent deal for the player in July.
The move initially faced several hiccups, with contractual details between all parties involved taking considerable time to resolve.
Nevertheless, the deal is now official, with Lorch having already signed his papers.
