Mamelodi Sundowns still have Lebogang Mothiba at the club despite his non-appearance on matchday since his signing.
Mothiba last played football with French club Strasbourg in December 2023 and since the expiry of his contract last June, went on a club-hunting mission.

He ultimately signed for Sundowns earlier this year but did so whilst not completely fit.
Weeks have turned to months for Mothiba at Chloorkop without making his debut, raising questions about when he will play.
With the side’s next two games coming in the CAF Champions League final, there is no chance he will feature.
It has since been gathered The Brazilians made this signing aware of the fact that his chances of playing this season would be thin with the FIFA Club World Cup identified as the competition where he could play.

Following his recent setbacks, Mothiba is now back at full training without any issues and was part of the squad preparing for Saturday's match against Pyramids FC at Loftus (15:00).
The 29-year-old was previously in the Tshwane giants' development ranks before his career took on a decade-long stay in France.
