It has been revealed that Nam Dinh FC has officially registered South African duo Percy Tau and Njabulo Blom, and the reason both are yet to make their debuts has also seemingly been confirmed.
Tau and Blom are considered marquee signings for Nam Dinh, with the South African pair now among the most valuable players in Vietnam’s top flight.
Blom was the first to join Nam Dinh, signing a permanent deal from St. Louis City in Major League Soccer.

Tau arrived at the Vietnamese club as a free agent after being released by Qatar SC at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
The two players, who have previously only played together for the national team, are yet to feature in an official match for Nam Dinh.
According to Vietnamese sports outlet Bongda 24H, Tau and Blom have been registered to play this season but have had to watch from the sidelines during recent matches.
The report adds that the South African duo are not yet match fit, explaining their absence so far.
Speaking on the current status of Tau and Blom, Nam Dinh coach Vu Hong Viet told Dan Viet:
"Through my observations, I can see that they have adapted to the style of play I am building. If there are no issues with your physical condition and fitness, I will certainly use you.
"The whole team needs to further improve their concentration, especially in situations involving transitions and counter-attacks from the opponents."
