While tennis is very much different from the atmosphere of professional soccer, it seems the Khunes are more than comfortable with a racket in hand.
Their photos show a couple having fun, staying active, and possibly developing a new shared hobby as their marriage keeps growing.
Though Khune hasn't officially retired from professional football following his departure from Amakhosi two seasons ago, he has been focusing on other pursuits.
The 38-year-old family man has kept himself busy with personal business ventures and currently serves as a football analyst for the South African public broadcaster, SABC Sport.
Outside of work, Khune and Sphelele have been embracing family life and travel. The couple recently enjoyed a vacation in Zimbabwe, where they shared stunning pictures of their getaway.
