The man who played every minute in Cape Town City's 2024/25 league season is keeping a positive outlook ahead of their first game of the PSL promotion/relegation play-offs with their fate in their own hands.
Diogo Peral's men open their play-offs campaign with a home fixture against Orbit College FC at DHL Stadium on Saturday.
A win will take them to the top of the mini-league table following a goalless between their next opponents and Castric Stars on Wednesday.

"It's a different territory for us at the moment because, as Cape Town City, we've never finished outside the Top Eight. It's untested waters for us," admits goalkeeper Darren Keet.
"But we have enough qualities and capabilities to overcome the challenge. It will be tough, but we also have a good mixture of experience to be able to deal with this situation. Hopefully, it all works out for us."
Asked for his thoughts on the poor performance of both Orbit and Castric in the opener, Keet said they had a plan.
"It's a difficult game to watch because you're not getting the whole of it, hence we've also been doing our work behind the scenes watching other games of theirs (that) they played throughout the season.
"We are doing that just to get more of an understanding of what they are really about. I think in Wednesday's game, both teams were cautious.
"So, sure, on Saturday, we need to win our first game and go to Castric with a positive result. That's what the plan is, to get there in position one and stay there," reveals the 35-year-old, while giving a sneak peek into The Citizens' change room.
"The mood has been good, though obviously it's one of those things where there's a little bit of stress and pressure. But I think we were able to deal with it pretty well considering the circumstances.

"So, everyone is upbeat, especially in our last three games where we got two positive results, a nice win and a 0-0 draw against two very difficult opponents (Polokwane City and Stellenbosch FC).
"I believe that will help us go into these play-offs with a positive vibe."
City as a club are valued at €9.28 million (R193 million) by Transfermarkt and club boss John Comitis will be eager for them to remain in the top division having bought the status of Mpumalanga Black Aces, renamed and relocated to the Mother City in 2016.
