Usuthu forward back home

AmaZulu winger Boniface Haba has headed back home with his future at the club bleak following a difficult first season.

Haba joined from Moroccan club Olympique Safi at the beginning of the season but has had it tough.

The 28-year-old has only played 152 minutes spread over eight appearances and is without neither a goal nor assist.

This website has now been informed that Haba is already back home in Guinea.

The reason for his early return was necessitated by his need to make an application for a new passport.

While he sorts out his travel documents, he will unfortunately not be in the plans for next season with Arthur Zwane having not used him much since he took over.

Haba has previously played for Horoya AC and will now have engagements with Usuthu over his contract.

He signed a two-year deal (with a one-year option) when he joined at the beginning of the season.
