Liverpool's Mohamed Salah won't make Real Madrid team according to former coach Vicente Del Bosque

Del Bosque led Real to UEFA Champions League glory in 2000 and 2002, before enjoying a successful spell with the Spanish national team.

And as Real prepare for the highly anticipated final against the Reds in Kiev, Salah has stolen the headlines as the key player who could prevent Zinedine Zidane from securing his third successive European title.

However, the veteran coach claimed no player from the Premier League side would improve the Spanish giants, not even the Golden Boot winner of the English top-flight.

"Real Madrid have a great squad - they are the best club in Europe at the moment and must show that on Saturday," he told El Partidazo before predicting a 4-1 win for Los Blancos.

"I don't see even one Liverpool player who would improve Real Madrid, not even Salah."

The Champions League final kicks off at 20:45 on Saturday 26 May.
