Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has revealed what he told his teammates during a team talk ahead of the Nedbank Cup final against arch-rivals Orlando Pirates.
Amakhosi ended a ten-year trophy drought in style, with a 2-1 victory over the Buccaneers, who had won the five prior Soweto Derby meetings.
The highly-contested fixtures pushed both sides to the brink and needed a late winner from captain Yusuf Maart in the 80th minute after Gaston Sirino and Evidence Makgopa had scored for either side.

Speaking on Radio2000's Game On, Ngcobo has revealed that Nasreddine Nabi's men had held a team talk just hours before the encounter, in which the squad got into an intense motivational session.
'Mshini', as he is affectionately known, told his teammates that losing was simply not an option.
"We had a meeting because we went to the stadium, and the guys were talking, motivating one another," Ngcobo, who was promoted to the Glamour Boys' senior team in 2017, said.
"It just came to into my mind when I was sitting that I couldn't imagine us losing that game. The pressure that was going to come to us, we were not going to be able to live with it.
"So, it was just something that came to my mind, that guys, we just have one option: to win this cup. We don't have any other option. Whatever happens, we have to make sure that we just win the cup," reflected the 25-year-old.
