Liverpool's Mohamed Salah on UEFA Champions League final and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo

Salah has netted 10 goals in the Champions League this season as Liverpool romped towards the final in Kyiv, where they'll meet the 12-time European champions Real Madrid.

Despite his incredible exploits, Salah still trails Ronaldo by five goals in the 2017/18 in the race for the top scorers' award.

However, as he leads the Premier League scoring charts with 31 goals, English and Spanish press have already claimed the star of the fixture in Ukraine between the prolific pair - will be the favourite for Europe's most coveted individual honour.

But Salah has tempered down the expectations, claiming he cannot win the trophy by himself, with his usual humble responses to the press.

"I am playing for a great club and we have great players, so qualifying to the final came with great teamwork. I cannot do it alone - it is collective work.

"When we score a goal it's because we are all doing good, when we concede it means we all need to work harder."
