Liverpool ripped Roma apart in the first-leg at Anfield last month and come into the second-leg at the Stadio Olimpico as overwhelming favourites thanks to a three-goal advantage.
However, the home side's two late away goals handed them a glimmer of hope due to their dramatic quarter-final triumph over FC Barcelona.
Head coach Eusebio Di Francesco hopes his side can pull off a repeat performance, just as they did in the quarter-finals when they fought back from a 4-1 first-leg defeat.
"I would do a copy and paste [of the Barca game]," said Di Francesco, as quoted by BBC Sport. "It is in the mind of the players. In order to compete against a rival such as Liverpool, we need to raise the bar in terms of physical effort.
"We have conceded very little to our rivals at home. It won't be easy, but it is our duty to believe it. Thanks to the passion of our fans, we have our fans behind us so we all have the desire to complete one more miracle, if I may use the word."
Both sides' are competing for a place in the final, where they will meet 12-time European champions Real Madrid in Kyiv.
