Manchester United have now reportedly opened talks with Paris Saint-Germain with a view to signing one of their biggest stars.
With the Red Devils expected to make a big splash in the upcoming transfer window, they could be bringing in a superstar ahead of next season.

In recent months, the club has been linked with two big-money strikers, namely Victor Osimhen of Napoli and Tottenham Hotspur captain Harry Kane.
Both players are expected to cost no less than €100 million (R2 billion) each, but there has been no suggestion that the Premier League giants cannot afford such hefty fees, with the club's reportedly imminent change of ownership expected to see their transfer budget increase dramatically.
However, with little groundwork seemingly laid between United and the aforementioned duo, the Manchester team have seemingly made an approach for a top name at PSG instead.
According to French outlet L'Equipe, Erik ten Hag's outfit has opened talks with PSG over the possibility of signing Neymar.
The Ligue 1 giants are thought to be fed up with the Brazilian's constant injuries and off-pitch troubles, and want to place Kylian Mbappe at the forefront of the team, a move the South American is believed to not be happy about.
With a contract running until 2027 and the second biggest wages in the Ligue 1 side behind Mbappe, the Parisians have struggled to offload the Selecao talisman in previous windows.
United, meanwhile, are within touching distance of securing a spot in next season's UEFA Champions League, and it is said that this could be a big determining factor for Neymar.
The report also claims that fellow Brazil star and current Red Devil Casemiro is playing his part in trying to convince his compatriot to join him at Old Trafford.
It is further stated that Ten Hag and company are interested in a loan deal for the former FC Barcelona attacker, but PSG would prefer to complete a permanent sale if at all possible.

It is said a meeting has been lined up between Neymar's representatives and PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos, while Chelsea are also keeping an eye on the situation, although their failure to secure European football for next season may rule them out of the race for Neymar's signature.
