Manchester United have now reportedly lined up two strikers to sign in the upcoming transfer window.
United's centre-forward problems appear to have gone under the radar perhaps thanks to Marcus Rashford's prolific output of 29 goals and 11 assist in 53 matches so far.

Bruno Fernandes has also chipped in with 11 strikes, making him the club's second-top scorer this term, but this has not masked the lack of goals the team has produced in this campaign.
The Red Devils are severely lacking a goalscoring striker, with on-loan marksman Wout Weghorst having netted only twice in 29 games, and current No. 9 Anthony Martial having struggled with injuries all season.
As such, the club's priority has become finding a top striker ahead of next season, but it now appears they will be signing two instead.
According to The Times, Erik ten Hag's side has identified Harry Kane and Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta as their next forwards to bang in the goals.
It is said the EPL club sees the Serie A star as a potential partner to Kane at Old Trafford, rather than an alternative target.
However, it is further claimed that the Italian side is not looking to sell their Danish sensation for anything less than £60 million (R1.4 billion), which would be a significant investment from United given that Tottenham Hotspur will also be expecting a lofty fee for their captain.
Hojlund,20, has impressed as he registered eight goals and three assists in his debut campaign in Italy, and has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea too.
Kane, meanwhile, refused to give away too much about his future following Spurs' 3-1 home loss to Brentford on Saturday.
"A lot needs to change here for us to start being successful again," the 29-year-old said after that match.
"There is a conversation to be had in terms of the failures of the club.
"My focus is to enjoy this final week as much as possible and try and finish the season with a win.
"I am focused on this season and trying to help the team as much as possible. That is all I can do."
