With Kaizer Chiefs reportedly interested in Bafana Bafana international Sphephelo Sithole, agent Manuel Tomas could have intensified the rumours.
Chiefs were reportedly interested in signing Sithole in the previous off-season, before he eventually signed with Primeira Liga outfit Gil Vicente.

'Yaya', however, was limited to only two appearances for the Portuguese outfit, after he got a broken leg injury on Bafana, Africa Cup of Nations qualifier duty in October 2024.
Amakhosi were still in the market for a midfielder and, after a lenghty chase, got the opportunity to sign Thabo Cele in January, with the latter having voluntarily terminated his contract with Russian club Fakel Voronezh and returned home for family reasons.
After Sithole recovered from his injury and set to return to Tondela, Chiefs, according to Soccer Laduma, are contemplating making a move for the KZN-born star, especially since they are yet to make a decision on whether to retain Njabulo Blom.
KickOff.com got in touch with Tomas, who was tight-lipped on whether he has received any offers from Naturena.
"Until now, I don't have any kind of information about that, but (even) if I have, I will not tell nothing," Tomas.
"Because I think Yaya needs to focus in the next season, he has a contract at Tondela, this is our focus, nothing more," responded Tomas.

However, he will have the second bite of the cherry if he stays at The Gold and Greens, as they are on the verge of promotion to the Primeira Liga. They are urrently at the top of the Second Division table, with one game left.
