A double from Carles Perez helped FC Barcelona record a 2-0 victory over Japan's Vissel Kobe in a friendly match on Saturday.
Star signing Antoine Griezmann earned a start in a three-prong attack, with Andres Iniesta, David Villa and Sergi Samper featuring against their former paymasters.
Kobe made a promising start in the earlier minutes, with Iniesta and Dankler edging close to the opener with efforts from outside the area.
Barca opened up the match on 14 minutes when Griezmann played in Rafinha, who drew a solid save from Daiya Maekawa.
The Spanish heavyweights battled to get going in the soaring heat of Tokyo, with chances few and far between shortly afterwards.
Exactly five minutes to halftime, Iniesta oversaw space outside the area and lashed in a solid shot which Marc Andre Ter Stegen had no problem collecting.
At the break, Frenkie de Jong, Neto, Ousmane Dembele and Malcom to mention but a few were one came off the bench while Iniesta made way for the Japanese outfit.
Malcom threatened the breakthrough on 47 minutes when his header from the right side of the area cracked the post from Dembele's corner.
The Brazilian turned provider 59 minutes gone with a well-placed through ball for Carles Perez, who accepted the invitation with a bottom low finish.
Barca looked for a second afterwards, but Carles Alena, Malcom and Sergi Roberto lacked the desired edge in front of goal.
For the second time in the match, Malcom was denied by the post after letting off with a shot from inside the area with 77 minutes played.
The Catalan giants finally ended the contest four minutes from time after Perez zipped in to the area to find the bottom corner.
