Real Madrid have taken full advantage of this special window, securing the signatures of Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool and Dean Duijsen from Bournemouth.

Alexander-Arnold has already been replaced at Liverpool by new signing Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen.

Fellow Premier League giants Manchester City have been among the busiest clubs during the recent window, announcing the signings of Rayan Cherki from Olympique Lyon and Rayan Aït-Nouri from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Pep Guardiola's side also brought in Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders in a major deal from AC Milan.

Chelsea, meanwhile, added two new players: Dário Essugo from Sporting CP and Mamadou Sarr from Strasbourg.

Arsenal have sanctioned the departures of Jorginho and Kieran Tierney, with the pair joining Flamengo and Celtic, respectively.
