Nasir didn’t play any competitive last season while on loan at SuperSport United, where he was de-registered in January due to injury issues.

The Ethiopian has been under contract at Sundowns since January 2022 but then spent six months on loan at Ethiopian Coffee before moving to Chloorkop.
His time at Sundowns has only come with 17 appearances and four goals.
For all the potential that the 25-year-old has shown, it appears he has stretched the patience of Sundowns, who have not been able to reap the rewards they desired from Nasir.
"This season I want to play football and which team it is it doesn’t matter," Nasir tells KickOff.com.
"We are in discussions with Sundowns because I’m now back in Johannesburg after spending time at home in Ethiopia during the off-season.
"I’m at home training alone and without any pain on the ankle injury which made me not play.
"Maybe I will go to another club.
"I don’t know but I want to play football," says Nasir who hasn’t trained with the Sundowns squad since their return for pre-season last week.

Nasir still has a running contract with Sundowns having signed a five-year deal when he joined.
While he has had injury worries, Nasir started both World Cup qualifying games for Ethiopia during the March break and scored three goals.
