“Facing African teams is always a challenge; they have great technique," Boto said, as per Pan African Football.
"I think some opponents are underestimated.
"Our match against Espérance will be particularly difficult, but we intend to take full advantage of every match."
Flamengo are also expected to hand a debut to former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, who has been adapting pretty well, according to coach Felipe Luis.
"He is adapting very well and he's ready," Luis said, as per Englis News.
"He has played alongside the best in Europe and we all know his quality. It's our job to make him feel welcome so that he can enjoy this next stage in his career."
