Nunez was sent off in his first Premier League start for headbutting Joachim Anderson during the Reds' 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace at Anfield.
Suarez was no stranger to controversy during his time with Liverpool in the Premier League and reveals he has spoken to Nunez after his sending off.
"I talked to him because he is just starting out, and I wanted to make him aware that from now on [opponents] will be seeking him out twice or three times more often," Saurez said during an interview with Telemundo, as per Daily Mail.
"Even more so in England. He's hearing this from an idiot who made mistakes and suffered for them, but falling down and getting up again made me stronger.
"Don't give them any more chances, it'll only get worse."
