Al Ahly have reportedly set the date for the official announcement of their new incumbent manager, Jose Riveiro.
It is widely understood that Riveiro is set to become the new head coach of Al Ahly.
The Spanish tactician is said to have accepted the job after deciding not to extend his stay with Orlando Pirates, following almost three years at the club.

Al Ahly, meanwhile, severed ties with their previous boss, Marcel Koller, after the club failed to defend their CAF Champions League title, having been knocked out in the semi-finals by Mamelodi Sundowns.
Despite widespread reports noting Riveiro's arrival at Cairo International Airport earlier this month, no formal announcement has yet been made regarding the appointment.
Reports in Egypt now suggest that the long wait will soon be over.
According to Al Khaleej, Al Ahly have scheduled a press conference at their headquarters in Gezira, Cairo, on Thursday, 29 May, to announce Riveiro as the new first-team manager.
The report also claims that Riveiro and his new technical staff will meet with the players and management at the Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium the following day.
It is said that the announcement was delayed due to Al Ahly’s Egyptian Premier League commitments.
