Egyptian giants Al Ahly are reportedly in talks with a former a FC Barcelona coach as they look for Marcel Koller's replacement.
The Egyptian giants parted ways with Koller after the team were knocked out of the CAF Champions League by Mamelodi Sundowns in the semi-finals last month.

A few names have been linked with the head coach role since then, including out-going Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro.
According to Marca, Spanish coach Xavier Garcia Pimienta has been in negotiations with the reigning African champions for the head coach position.
Garcia, who coached the Barcelona B team, is a free agent after he was sacked by LALIGA outfit Sevilla in April following the team's poor run of results.
The report adds that that Al Ahly hope to see the Spanish tactician managing the team at the FIFA Club World Cup next month.
Al Ahly were drawn in Group A against Palmeiras, FC Porto and Lionel Messi's Inter Miami.
