An Orlando Pirates slayer has been called up for DR Congo national team duty, while Kaizer Chiefs star Glody Lilepo was left out for the upcoming friendlies.
DR Congo head coach Sebastien Desabre announced his 26-man roster for the team's friendly matches against Mali and Madagascar scheduled for June.
As national football teams are set to play friendly matches in June, the Leopards will face Mali on June 5 and subsequently lock horns with Madagascar three days later.

Pyramids FC star Fiston Mayele, who contributed to his team's victory over Pirates in the CAF Champions League semi-finals and also doing well in the domestic league, has been selected for Desabre's final squad.
However, Mayele has a significant choice to make ahead of these two matches considering that Pyramids are scheduled to go against Zamalek in the Egypt Cup on June 5.
Conversely, Chiefs forward Lilepo was not included in the squad that features talented stars, including former Manchester United forward Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Lilepo has been performing well for the Betway Premiership team, having netted four goals in 16 appearances across all competitions, but that was seemingly not enough to make a cut.
The two matches will serve as preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers taking place in September, where the team is set to contend against South Sudan and Senegal.
