Egyptian club Pyramids FC are reportedly open to losing their star striker, Fiston Mayele, but only under one conditions.

His standout performances have attracted interest from several clubs both within Africa and abroad. On the continent, South African giants Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns are believed to be amongst the suitors.

Additionally, Saudi Arabian side Al-Fateh have reportedly entered negotiations with the Egyptian side over a potential transfer for the Congolese forward.

According to Egyptian journalist Ahmed Shobeir, a former Al Ahly goalkeeper turned prominent media figure, Mayele has received a lucrative offer from a Saudi club, and a move could materialise before the new season kicks off.

Other reports have indicated that Pyramids FC are open to parting ways with the 31-year-old striker as they look to bring in a new forward, but any decision will depend on the offers they receive from interested clubs.

"I asked Pyramids officials about the fate of Congolese striker Fiston Mayele, and they told me he's a strong candidate to leave," Shobeir said per Gate El-balad.

"The player received a very tempting offer from Saudi Arabia, and he's on the verge of leaving, honestly, I was very surprised.

"I asked them how they would accept his departure, as he is one of the team's stars and top scorers. They told me that the player was determined to leave after receiving a very tempting offer from Saudi Arabia, and that he would not be with them next season.

"Pyramids are considering signing a strong striker. We must be careful here and not link Wissam Abu Ali to Pyramids, as he has nothing to do with the rumors. However, Wissam will eventually move to the American League."
