One of the players who were strongly linked with Kaizer Chiefs during the current transfer window is now said to be on trial in Major League Soccer.
It is believed that Chiefs are yet to conclude their transfer business, although they have already signed a number of players so far.
These include Thabiso Monyane, Paseka Mako, Flavio Silva, Ethan Chislett, and Nkanyiso Shinga.

Notably, many of the players who were heavily linked with Chiefs prior to the above-mentioned signings are still not at the club, casting serious doubt over the likelihood of their moves to Naturena materialising.
Some of these reported targets include Fiston Mayele, Feisal Salum, Jean Charles Ahoua, Percy Tau, and Kibu Denis of Simba SC.
The latter, however, appears to be moving further away from Chiefs' reach, according to recent reports.
According to Tanzanian outlet Soka la Bongo, Denis is currently in the United States on trial with top-flight side Nashville SC, where he has already been granted an additional week to showcase his abilities after making a strong impression.
“Kibu is working really hard,” said one of the individuals close to the player currently in Nashville, as per Soka la Bongo.
“Football here is no joke. There are many players and the competition is intense. But being given a third week means he has something special.”
Another source is said to have added: “The trials are being conducted with the reserve team, but the final decisions lie with the senior coaching staff.
"They started with five players. After two weeks, three were cut. Kibu and a young Brazilian player are the only ones who remained and were granted extra time due to their impressive displays.”
