Kaizer Chiefs may have missed out on a top target, with reports from Tanzania indicating that highly-rated midfielder Feisal Salum has agreed to join a certain African giant.
Salum, affectionately known as Fei Toto, has long been admired by Chiefs' new head coach, Nasreddine Nabi. Chiefs had reportedly been monitoring Salum closely, hoping to secure his signature as part of their ongoing squad rebuild.

Recognised as one of the most talented and sought-after midfielders on the African continent, the Zanzibar-born star has made a name for himself with his exceptional ability to control the tempo of the game.
The 27-year-old midfielder has been instrumental for both Azam FC and the Tanzania national team, where his performances have earned him widespread acclaim.
In recent weeks, reports suggested that the Glamour Boys had submitted an official offer to Azam for the player’s services. However, it was reported that the Tanzanian club revealed that they were left unimpressed by the proposal.
According to a Tanzanian publication, The Citizen, Feisal has now agreed personal terms with Azam’s fierce rivals, Young Africans SC, who recently clinched the league title.
More so, it is now understood that Yanga have tabled a lucrative three-year contract and finalized the deal with the player ahead of the upcoming season.
Despite this, there is some uncertainty, as conflicting reports suggest that Azam claim they have yet to receive a formal offer for the player from Yanga.

Fei Toto’s growing reputation has not gone unnoticed, with continental heavyweights like Mamelodi Sundowns and Simba SC also reportedly showing interest in the dynamic midfielder.
Should the Yanga news prove to be true, it will a major boost for Yanga, who are preparing for another CAF Champions League campaign. If the deal is confirmed, it will mark another blow to Amakhosi, who are actively rebuilding under the Tunisian tactician.
