Sekhukhune recall striker

Wonderboy Makhubu has returned to Sekhukhune United and will be part of the team during the 2025/6 season.

Makhubu spent the past season on loan to Magesi from Sekhukhune where he also helped the club win the Carling Cup tournament in their maiden appearance in the elite league.

The 28-year-old striker completed the season with three goals in 16 appearances for the Limpopo-based side in the Betway Premiership.

The Dikwena Tsa Meetse is now set to venture into the transfer market in search of a striker after Thabang Sibanyoni also returned to Mamelodi Sundowns after concluding his load deal with the club.

Agent Pontsho Madumo has confirmed that his client Wonderboy Makhubu is returning to Sekhukhune United and will be part of the club during the pre-season.

“He was only on loan to Sekhukhune United. He is still under contract with Sekhukhune. The club has recalled him and will rejoin them for the pre-season”, Madumo tells KickOff.com.

Sekhukhune United has already signed midfielder Migual Timm after parting ways with Orlando Pirates.

Babina Noko will participate in the MTN 8 tournament next season after finishing position four in the Betway Premiership.
