An English pundit has revealed his excitement at seeing South African star Luke Le Roux in action for Portsmouth this season following his recent move.
Le Roux got his first taste of action for Portsmouth during a recent pre-season friendly against Dutch outfit PEC Zwolle.
The South African playmaker came on as a second-half substitute as he gears up for his first-ever season in the English second tier.

During his brief unofficial debut, Le Roux's cameo already appeared to show glimpses of the qualities he brings to Portsmouth.
English Championship pundit George Alek made a brief comment about Le Roux, telling the NTT20 Championship podcast:
"Then a couple of players I’m excited to see, Luke Le Roux comes in who looks like he’s going to be a real ball winner in the middle of the park and a big physical presence."
Le Roux, who signed a three-year deal with Portsmouth, will be looking to make his official debut when his side opens the 2025/26 Championship campaign away against Oxford United on Saturday, 9 August.
Last season marked Portsmouth's return to the Championship after spending the previous 11 campaigns in the third and fourth tiers of English football.
The last time Portsmouth were in the Premier League was back in the 2009/10 season, when they also had former Bafana Bafana captain Aaron Mokoena on their books.
