In a bid to secure Percy Tau's signature, Egyptian giants Zamalek have reportedly tabled another offer for the South African star.

Tau has remained a free agent since parting ways with Qatar Stars League side Qatar SC in January this year, a club he had joined after leaving Al Ahly.
Following his exit from Qatar, the Bafana Bafana international has been heavily linked with a move to the White Knights.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion forward has become a highly sought-after player, with several clubs eager to benefit from his experience and pedigree.
However, Tau’s previous wage was believed to be around R20 million annually and this was said to have initially deterred some interested clubs, including Zamalek.
According to North African outlet Masawy, the 31-year-old attacker initially demanded $1.1 million (R19 million) per season, but his representatives later lowered their asking price to $800,000 (approximately R14.4 million), a figure still considered steep by Zamalek.

Nonetheless, it now appears that Zamalek are still keen to land the former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker. The Egyptian side have reportedly offered Tau a deal worth up to $350,000 per year (around R6.2 million), according to Masawy.
Negotiations are said to be ongoing, and it remains to be seen whether the highly-rated Tau will accept the offer and join Zamalek ahead of the 2025/26 season.
