Fiacre Ntwari’s situation at Kaizer Chiefs has placed him in deepening concerns over his international career after completing nine months since he last played.
It is evident that Ntwari has fallen out of favour at Chiefs in matters relating to the number one jersey.

The 25-year-old arrived from TS Galaxy at the beginning of last season and was the first choice, playing seven games before being relegated to the bench and the stands.
While he has not been getting official minutes at club level, his international career has continued, playing all six matches for Rwanda since his last Amakhosi appearance on November 2 last year when they were hammered 4-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns in the Carling Knockout.
However, there are now growing concerns about his place as first choice while he hasn’t played club football for nine months.
The Rwandans play Nigeria and Zimbabwe next month in games of interest for Bafana Bafana, who are in the same FIFA World Cup qualification group.
This week, Nabi has confirmed that Ntwari remains at the club and must fight with Brandon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma.
Ntwari’s exit is complicated by the fact that he is into the second season of his four-year deal, which has the option of a further year.
So, for him to leave, there has to be a transfer fee agreement.

There have been recent enquiries from Tanzania giants Young Africans, who proposed a loan deal, while his name was also rubbed on clubs in the French Second Division and Azerbaijan.
Should he leave, he will create a further foreign space for the Soweto giants, who also have Glody Makabi Lilepo (Congolese), Inacio Miguel (Angolan-Portuguese), and Flavio Silva (Guinea Bissau-Portuguese) registered as foreigners.
