Sibisi made his international debut for South Africa in a friendly encounter against Uganda in June last year and could add to his solitary cap when Bafana Bafana meet Guinea and France in friendly action over the next five days.
Ahead of the two highly-anticipated internationals, the 26-year-old revealed his delight at returning to the national team fold and highlighted the honour it was for him, his domestic club and his family to be able to wear the famous jersey.
"It's always an honour to get a call-up to the national team. I think every player playing in the PSL or abroad wishes to represent their national team," he said ahead of Friday's clash against Guinea in Belgium.
"Getting the honour to represent the national team is a huge, huge achievement for me, for the club I play for as well, and for my family, and it's a privilege to be here."
Sibisi, who has been one of the star performers at centre-back for Arrows in the DStv Premiership this season, also shared some insight into his selection amid questions over his lack of height in comparison to other competitors.
"I think all of the guys are talented but you have to have something that makes you different," he added. "With me, in terms of defence, I bring speed, I can read the game.
"People often ask how I can play centre back with my height, but for me, it's all about timing, reading the game and trying to be aggressive and I think that's maybe what caught the coach's eye."
