Former coach Sergio Dos Santos believes that the judging panel will face a tough task in deciding who should be named the Premier Soccer League Coach of the Season.
The finalists for the Coach of the Season award include Steve Barker, Miguel Cardoso, and Jose Riveiro.

Dos Santos, who has both played for and coached at Kaizer Chiefs, thinks that winning the league title should give Cardoso an advantage.
"These are the three top coaches for this season; there is no doubt about that. However, Cardoso won the league, so he deserves it," Dos Santos said in an interview with KickOff.
"All three coaches have shown consistency, and their teams played attractive football. When you have financial support, the right personnel, and you ensure that the right players are signed, everything tends to come together.
"Consider Stevie Barker—given the size of his team and the number of youngsters he has brought in, he has done exceptionally well.
"Then there’s Cardoso at Sundowns, who stepped in and implemented his own rules and regulations, making some changes that have resulted in a fantastic turnaround. He has managed to improve their performance and, of course, they have been very successful.
"Riveiro has also made a significant impact at Pirates, giving many young players a chance, which is commendable.
"The decision about the Coach of the Season will be a challenging one for the judges.

"Ultimately, it comes down to winning titles, and Mamelodi Sundowns have once again won the league. The most important question is, who wins the league?
"Since Cardoso has secured the most important trophy, the league title, I would award him the title of Coach of the Season."
