Former Kaizer Chiefs head coach Cavin Johnson has expressed his interest in a vacant head coach position after some time away from the dugout.
Siwelele FC are currently seeking a head coach, with Johnson, along with Lehlohonolo Seema, believed to be in the shortlist for the role.

At 66, he holds a UEFA Pro Licence and brings a wealth of experience, having worked at top clubs such as SuperSport United – whose top-flight status has been bought by Siwelele – AmaZulu FC, Al Ahly, and Amakhosi, amongst others.
While Siwelele have yet to confirm their technical team, sources indicate that the majority of the technical staff from SuperSport will remain with the club.
"Yes, it's true that I'm interested, but because no one from the club has reached out yet, you can't really say you are interested in a job until you understand their objectives," admits Johnson, speaking to KickOff.com.
"However, it's nice to be mentioned in the papers to show my interest. If I were to get the job, I would certainly do my best.

"In my experience, coaching a new team isn't much different from coaching an established team. As a coach, you must learn to survive in the PSL.
“After achieving that, you can focus on building, but keep in mind that building a team takes not just a few weeks; it generally requires three years. So, you have to consider all these factors," he went on.
