On paper, Mamelodi Sundowns' Lucas Ribeiro appears the outright favourite, with 16 goals to his name and an additional nine assists from 26 league appearances.
Although somewhat under the radar, Babina Noko Keletso Makgalwa is also a strong contender for the prestigious award.
The speedy winger contributed four goals and an incredible 11 assists from his 25 league appearances for Sekhukhune this season. He was a crucial part of Lehlohonolo Seema's side, later taken over by Eric Tinkler, that finished fourth on the Betway Premiership table.
