The PSL end-of-season awards may have been delayed, but standout players will finally get the opportunity to be rewarded for their efforts during 2024/25. Here is the full list of nominees.
The full list of nominees was unveiled on Tuesday morning and features a few surprises.
Among the prizes up for grabs are the coveted PSL Footballer of the Season, Players' Player of the Season, Goal of the Season, Coach of the Season, and Young Player of the Season, to name a few.

Lucas Ribeiro Costa, Relebohile Mofokeng, and Keletso Makgwalwa will battle it out for PSL Footballer of the Season honours after each enjoying a stellar campaign at Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, and Sekhukhune United respectively.
Players' Player of the Season, voted for by PSL players, threw up the exact same final three shortlist of Mofokeng, Mokoena and Makgwalwa.
Sundowns' Ronwen Williams, Elvis Chipezeze from Magesi FC and Bucs number one Sipho Chaine are the final three in the running for Goalkeeper of the Season.
The award for the Defender of the Season will be decided between The Brazilians' Grant Kekana, Thabo Moloisane of Stellenbosch FC, and Nkosinathi Sibisi, who impressed for Pirates.
The Midfielder of the Season category sees Sundowns duo Marcello Allende and last season' winner Teboho Mokoena joined by Bucs midfield mainstay Makhehlene Makhaula.
When it comes to cup competitions, Kaizer Chiefs fans will be smiling from ear to ear upon discovering that the trio of Inacio Miguel, Pule Mmodi, and Gaston Sirino have been shortlisted for Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament.
Amakhosi beat old foes Pirates in the final to end a 10-year trophy drought.
In the same competition, it is an all-Pirates affair in the Most Promising Player category with Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Mofokeng, and Mohau Nkota all vying for the accolade.
In the MTN8, the Soweto giants saw off a determined Stellenbosch FC in the final to clinch the title for a third consecutive season. Mofokeng and Deon Hotto are nominated alongside Stellies captain Fawaaz Basadien for the MTN8 Last Man Standing gong.
In one of the best underdog stories of recent memory, Magesi shocked Sundowns to lift the Carling Knockout Cup in December 2024.
Goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze, teammate Edmore Chirambadare, and Iqraam Rayners (Sundowns) are the final three-man shortlist for Player of the Tournament.
In terms of officiating, Luxolo Badi, Masixole Bambiso, and Olani Kwinda are jostling for Referee of the Season honours. Kgara Mokoena, Romario Phiri and Khamusi Razimiswani are the nominees for Assistant Referee of the Season.
Other categories listed include the Motsepe Foundation Championship Player of the Season award, where Luke Baartman, Tebogo Lekhatla, and Siphandla Mhlongo are all nominated.
Emile Lako, Sekhoane Moerane and Dumisani Msibi make up the list for Goalkeeper of the Season, while Banele Hlophe, Joslin Kamatuka, and Muzomuhle Khanyi are in the three-man shortlist for Players' Player of the Season.

Last but not least, is the DStv Diski Challenge Player of the Season award, where league winner and Chiefs captain Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi is nominated alongside Sundowns maestro Gomolemo Kekana and Stellies and national U20 talent Tylon Smith.
Due to The Brazilians' participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, the PSL awards ceremony had to be postponed, and will now be held on Tuesday, 29 July.
