Two Orlando Pirates youngsters who had a magnificent 2024/25 season headline the nominees for the Betway Premiership Young Player of the Season award, as announced by the League on Tuesday.
The official list of nominees was unveiled on Tuesday, and The Ghost will be less than surprised to see that starlets Relebohile Mofokeng and Mohau Nkota both among the nominations for Young Player of the Season.

Mofokeng will be all-too-familiar with the accolade, having won it in his debut campaign last term.
He will be an even stronger candidate this time around as his five goals and seven assists from 24 appearances rank him above every other player in his age group.
Nkota, who recently completed a move to Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq, also had a standout season, netting three times whilst also registering three assists from 25 league appearances.

Mamelodi Sundowns' Malibongwe Khoza is also in the conversation as a strong contender. The 21-year-old made 18 appearances in his debut campaign as The Brazilians powered to an eighth league title.
