Deon Hotto’s sixth season at Orlando Pirates will present him with the task of winning over Abdeslam Ouaddou the same way he has done under all coaches throughout his time at the club.
Hotto is staying put at Pirates at least until June 2027 and in that time will be chasing 300 appearances at the club.
The Namibian has played 215 matches to date for Bucs since he joined from Bidvest Wits five years ago.

That incredible input has been delivered playing under different coaches, proving just how his effort is appreciated by the men on the bench.
His first season came with 45 games under Josef Zinnbauer.
The German had his trust on Hotto, who played the most football under him throughout that 2020/21 season.
Then, for the 2021/22 campaign, Hotto played under the co-coaching pair of Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids, ending on 44 appearances.
He was again tops with games played.
Then, when Jose Riveiro took over, it was again the same script with Hotto again playing the most matches at Pirates during the Spaniard’s tenure.
It was 36 appearances in his first season, then 41 in his second, before adding 46 last term, with Riveiro in charge until the 3-0 win over Golden Arrows in May.
He then played thrice in the last four matches that Ncikazi oversaw at the tail end of last season.
This meant he ended the season with a load of 4300 minutes.

To understand the input, he has made at the Soweto giants, the Namibian international has been on the field in 93% of the matches played by the club since he joined.
Ouaddou has taken over aware of this information on the veteran left footer who will turn 35 in October.
Will the Moroccan-Frenchman take appreciation to the incredible work that comes with Hotto’s game the same way that Zinnbauer, Ncikazi/Davids, and Riveiro did?
