Following the appointment of Rulani Mokwena as head coach, Algerian giants MC Alger have announced their first signing under the South African tactician.
Alger unveiled the South African tactician as their new head coach after parting ways with Tunisian manager Khaled Ben Yahia. Ben Yahia left the club despite guiding the side to the Algerian top-flight league title last season.

Widely regarded as one of the most promising coaches in African football, Mokwena made history at Mamelodi Sundowns before a brief stint with Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club.
After spending nearly three months without a club, the 38-year-old now takes on another high-profile role in North Africa, where he will be competing against top teams including Sead Ramovic's CR Belouizdad.
Now, Mokwena's new team, Alger have announced the signing of Algerian defender Aimen Bouguerra from another Algerian side CS Constantine. The 28-year-old right-back also had a stint with Belouizdad before.

More so, Mokwena is also expected to bring in several more players. He is also said to be bringing his own technical team as he looks to reshape the team before the season starts.
Now tasked with defending Alger’s domestic crown and making a mark in continental competitions, the ex-Orlando Pirates tactician will be eager to prove his worth and have success with the Algerian powerhouse.
