BREAKING: Soweto giants announce SEVEN new signings!

Orlando Pirates have announced an incredible seven new signings in addition to marquee arrival Sipho Mbule and a new head coach in Abdeslam Ouaddou.

The Sea Robbers have moved swiftly and efficiently in ending speculation around their signings for 2025/26 by confirming the arrivals of the seven players.

In a statement released by the club on Thursday morning, the players unveiled were Yanela Mbuthuma and Nkosikhona Ndaba from Richards Bay FC, Masindi Nemtajela who did wonders at Marumo Gallants, big prospect Tshepang Moremi after lighting up the scene with Amazulu FC, Bafana Bafana international Sinoxolo Kwayiba who comes in from Chippa United.

Completing the list is Tshepo Mashiloane from Baroka FC and Sihle Nduli who has bid Stellenbosch FC farewell.

Notably, Kabelo Kgositsile is expected to remain at Motsepe Foundation side Baroka on a season-long loan. Bucs employed the same route on striker Evidence Makgopa in 2021.

The seven arrivals come days just after the Soweto giants pulled a rabbit out of a hat with the capture of former Mamelodi Sundowns maestro Mbule and the announcement of Ouaddou.

The septet of signings also raises plenty of questions on the future of some players, with more exits expected after the club confirmed the departures of Miguel Timm and Innocent Maela, who is expected to form part of the technical staff.

Meanwhile, Pirates will kick off their pre-season tour of Spain with a friendly match against Bolton Wanderers on 11 July.
