Mohau Nkota will complete his move to Saudi club Al Ettifaq with twentyfold improvement on his package.
Nkota stood out as the best newcomer of all players who made their professional debuts before turning 21 during the 2024/25 season.

The 20-year-old came out tops ahead of Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Malibongwe Khoza of Mamelodi Sundowns, TS Galaxy’s Khulumani Ndamane, and Gabriel Amato of Cape Town City in the list of newcomers.
He will look back to a debut season which came with a massive 39 appearances with a return of seven goals plus five assists in all competitions.
The Orlando Pirates development graduate made his debut against Richards Bay FC at the end of September and within a month had two goals to his name after he struck a brace against AmaZulu FC.
It then got even more interesting when he scored twice again on the day he made his CAF Champions League debut away at CR Belouizdad in the group stage.
His Champions League campaign ultimately ended with four goals and two assists after he scored again on the other two occasions that he travelled to North Africa to play against MC Alger and Pyramids FC.
In moving to the Saudi Pro League, his personal package will move upwards of USD700 000 (approx. R12,5 million).
Information gathered from contacts in the Gulf Region country states that Nkota’s terms will then get a massive increase based on his performance.
He has agreed to a three-year deal at the club.

Nkota will now be teammates with Dutch international and former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, who is the top earner at the club.
Wijnaldum earns a gross of 17,5 million Euro (approx. R313 million) per annum.
The lowest earners at the club take home gross USD140 000 (approx. R2,5 million) per annum.
