Lyle Foster: Belgian fans at Club Brugge madly in love with Percy Tau

Former Orlando Pirates striker Lyle Foster has explained how big Percy Tau actually is in Belgium, having joined the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns player in the country recently.

Foster completed a loan from French Ligue 1 club Monaco to Cercle Brugge in Belgium and made his debut for the side over the weekend.

After his debut, Foster says he was asked about Tau, who is having a dream start to life at Club Brugge after winning the Player of the Season award last term while on loan to second tier club Royale Union Saint Gilloise.

"Can you believe how after the first game I played I had a few interviews and the only thing people were asking about is Tau. They are madly in love with him there and they are madly in love with South African supporters," Foster tells snl24.com/kickoff

"I must give credit to South Africans, because they have taken over on the Club Brugge social media page. Our people are real football lovers and they do follow us. People are crazy for Percy over there."

Tau will be playing UEFA Champions League football in the coming campaign and Foster has dreams of also playing in the competition in future.
