Fresh PSL employers for Hunt

Gavin Hunt will have his latest coaching job in the Betway Premiership as he continues with his footprint in domestic football.

Hunt entered the top league with Seven Stars in the 1998/99 season and was the youngest coach back then, aged 34.

Since then, all his jobs have been in the Betway Premiership with Hellenic, Black Leopards, Moroka Swallows, SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits, Kaizer Chiefs, Chippa United, and SuperSport again.

His next employers will be Durban City.

City – formerly Maritzburg United – are back in the top league after winning automatic promotion.

They parted ways with Simo Dladla after failing to agree on a new contract and have now settled for Hunt.

There were also engagements with Owen Da Gama and Roger De Sa, while Sean Connor showed interest, just like several other names that were thrown at the club.

Hunt will be tasked with keeping the coastal club afloat and now has to work his way around the technical team that he will work with.
