Orlando Pirates’ departure lounge has a growing list of players following the number of midfield signings already made by the club in this transfer window.
Pirates have brought in Abdoulaye Mariko, Sipho Mbule, Sihle Nduli, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, and Masindi Nemtajela as the new midfield signings.

This means an additional five midfielders in the club’s squad and naturally means there will have to be exits following.
The latest name heading for the exit door is Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo.
Ndlondlo played just under 300 minutes in the 13 appearances that he made for the club last season in central midfield.
This was a huge drop from the 28 matches that he featured in throughout the 2023/24 campaign, accounting for 1670 minutes.
The pint-sized midfielder played 24 games in his first season (2022/23) after joining from Marumo Gallants.
With what has now happened at Pirates, it all indicates to a move away from the club for the new season.

Following discussions which had Durban City and Marumo Gallants mentioned, it is now Chippa United expected to land Ndlondlo’s signature.
The 30-year-old is aiming for more minutes on the field than he stands to get at Pirates.
